I just talked to my brother Khalil Roonjha, who is in Awaran for assessment visit for our youth led organization WANG, as we need to report and to share the latest information,
being resident of same constituency Lasbela/Awaran, I can totally feel what had happened to those, I still remember those poor face who gave you the example of exploitation wearing date leaves made shoos, I remember these are people who used to come to our fields in the seasons of crop cultivation in my home town Lasbela, but with the passage their migration went to low level the reason was because their family members moved to gulf countries for the earning for their families, they were imported for two reasons because of their hard work and cheap labor,
The earth quake has entirely shattered the so called infrastructure in the towns and nearby areas where rescue team doesn’t have access yet.
To me tragedy was not what nature did, but what we are doing right now, between the fight of two, middle one is suffering.
Didn’t find much coverage in the local media from targeted areas because they don’t have reporters their either they are too far from main cities or may be many other restrictions? As the media plays vital role in motivating people to help but we didn’t find that much massive support and or call from the people,
But the time is still there, actions need to be taken as Dr.Malik in his interview said that ‘’the Government can’t full fill the requirements alone we need urgent support ‘’
I urge you to support people in time of need, if we don’t help them right now time has to pass shall pass, leaving few alive and few other dead but our actions will be remembered our contributions can make a difference,
